Otterly.AI alternatives, free and paid

No paid plan we checked tracks daily for less than Otterly.AI's own Lite plan at $29 a month. The next cheapest are Ahrefs Brand Radar (from $50), LLMrefs ($79, weekly), Peec AI ($95) and Semrush ($99). For a free answer today, HubSpot's AI Search Grader and the GEO free check are one-off checks, not trackers.

What ChatGPT says about these tools

We ask ChatGPT ten buyer questions about AI visibility tools every week. On 16 October 2026 it named Profound and Peec AI in 8 of 10 answers, Otterly.AI in 6, Semrush and Scrunch in 5, Ahrefs in 4 and AthenaHQ in 2. It did not name LLMrefs, and it did not name GEO.

That is what the model remembers about the category, not a verdict on which tool fits you.

ChatGPT, asked ten buyer questions about AI visibility tools on 16 October 2026, US location, answering from memory without live web search. This week's ranking and the questions.

Where Otterly.AI wins

  • Price: the cheapest daily tracking we found, $29 a month for 15 prompts, or $25 a month billed yearly.
  • Engines at entry: four (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot), where Peec AI's entry plan includes three.
  • Unlimited team members on every plan, and a free trial.
  • Audits included: 1,000 GEO URL audits a month on Lite, plus crawlability and content checks.

Choose an alternative if

  • Peec AI if 15 prompts are too few: its $95 Starter plan tracks 50 prompts daily on three engines you pick, with unlimited users.
  • Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit if your team already works in Semrush and 25 prompts are enough. It costs $99 a month and has no free trial.
  • Ahrefs Brand Radar if you want competitors' AI visibility without writing prompts first: its AI Visibility Index (from $199 a month) covers over 481 million prompts with no setup.
  • LLMrefs if you want many engines and prompts for the money and weekly updates are enough: $79 a month for 500 prompts.
  • Profound if you are a large brand that buys through a sales process: custom price, up to nine engines and an AI Marketer that researches and writes.
  • The GEO free check if you have not yet confirmed whether ChatGPT names you at all. It is free, takes about two minutes and needs no trial or card.

Where GEO falls short

GEO is not a self-serve replacement for Otterly.AI. The GEO free check asks ChatGPT only: OpenAI's model through the API, answering from memory without live web search. Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews are not live in GEO. Daily tracking in the GEO console runs ChatGPT and Qwen as part of UrbanoDX's service, with no public price.

Every paid tool in the table covers more engines and keeps a daily or weekly history, and most include several users. Use the free check to learn where you stand today, then pick a tracker from the table if you need the trend. For the three ChatGPT names most, see Profound vs Peec AI vs Otterly.AI.

Questions

Is there a free alternative to Otterly.AI?

Not for daily tracking. The free options are one-off checks: the GEO free check asks ChatGPT three unbranded buyer questions, and HubSpot's AI Search Grader asks ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini about your brand by name. Otterly.AI, Peec AI, LLMrefs and Profound offer free trials of paid tracking.

What is the cheapest Otterly.AI alternative?

Among the paid plans we checked on 17 October 2026, none tracks daily for less than Otterly.AI's own $29 Lite plan. The next cheapest are an Ahrefs Brand Radar custom prompts package at $50 a month, LLMrefs at $79 with weekly updates, Peec AI at $95 and Semrush at $99.

Which AI engines does Otterly.AI track?

Every plan includes ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude are paid add-ons: on the Lite plan Gemini and AI Mode cost $9 a month each and Claude $29, according to Otterly.AI's pricing page on 17 October 2026.

How did you choose these alternatives?

Apart from LLMrefs and GEO itself, every tool in the table was named by ChatGPT when we asked it ten buyer questions about AI visibility tools on 16 October 2026. LLMrefs recurs as a budget option in the search results for this question. Prices and engines come from each vendor's own pricing page.

Does ChatGPT name your business?

Three of your buyers' questions, asked to ChatGPT without your name: your score, who is named instead and what to fix. Free, about two minutes.
